About Beijing Ticket Guide: who we are and how we verify

Beijing Ticket Guide is an independent, unofficial website that helps foreign visitors get tickets for Beijing’s best-known sights: the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.

We are not affiliated with the Palace Museum, any attraction, any government body or any official ticket office, and we do not sell tickets.

What we do

• Explain, step by step, how to get tickets yourself through the official channels.
• Show when tickets go on sale, with a calculator that converts the release time to your own time zone.
• Suggest backup options, such as tours that include entry, for when tickets are sold out or you would rather have a guide.

How we check information

• Every fact on the site (prices, opening hours, booking rules) is stored once with the sources it was checked against and the date it was checked.
• When sources disagree, we do not state the fact: we use neutral wording or leave it out.
• Pages that use these facts show a “Sources and last checked” box with the links.

Ticket rules can change at short notice, so always check the official source before you travel. If you notice something out of date, please contact us.
